Southend-on-Sea Borough Council supports the voluntary sector through the provision of funding via its annual grants programme to enable not-for-profit organisations to provide services and activities for the residents of Southend.

Not-for-profit voluntary and community sector groups

Small Grants Programme – applicable to local community groups applying for a grant of up to £1,000.

Larger Grants Programme – applicable to voluntary and community sector groups applying for a grant of more than £1,000.
