Essex County Council

Essex County Council gives grants to properly constituted amenity and conservation organisations in the voluntary sector. To qualify, projects must contribute towards the conservation and enhancement of the Essex landscape and wildlife. The grants are for:

• research and promotional projects
• publications
• equipment, improvements or land acquisition.

Properly constituted amenity and conservation organisations in the Voluntary sector.

The minimum grant is £1,500. and the maximum grant is £5,000. In exceptional cases larger amounts can be awarded.

Organisations may apply for a grant at any time of the year but applications are considered in December or January each year.
