Local Funding

Dorset Stategic Partnership (DSP) Small Grant Funding
Dorset Strategic Partnership
£38,900 is available to registered charities and properly constituted voluntary organisations, as well as parish and town councils. The funding must be allocated by 31 March 2010. Projects must be completed within 12 months of funding being provided.

Grants will not be available to individuals, and to qualify applicants will need to demonstrate that their project benefits the community in North Dorset and has the support of their community. It will also need to be identifiable in a parish, town or community plan. Projects that would normally be funded through Town or Parish Council precepts will not qualify and salaries will not be funded.

The maximum amount of grant available to any one project will be £5,000 and it is anticipated that the grant should not constitute 100% of any project's total funding. Therefore, it will be necessary to show what other funding has been secured.
Charities and propely constituted community based organisations as well as parish councils can apply for this funding. Funding will not normally be provided to businesses and individuals.
There is no minimum grant. The maximum allocation is £5,000. Projects that have secured significant match funding will be considered more favourably.
