Local Funding

Green Machine
Community Foundation for Mersyside
The Green Machine awards grants between £50 - £2000 to community and voluntary groups, to support projects that will enhance the local environment. It is funded by donations from Unilever and The Liverpool Bay asset partners, BHP Billiton and ENI UK Limited.

Grants of up to £2000 are available to community and voluntary groups on Merseyside to deliver projects that are innovative and will enhance and conserve the local environment. Projects that are likely to receive an award will fit into one or more of the fund's priorities.

• “greening” urban areas
• nature conservation
• producing environmental art
• tackling pollution
• aiding recycling

Special consideration will also be given to projects that are innovative, community led or work with children.

Priority will be given to groups which have not had a Green Machine Grant in the last 12 months.
To be eligible for funding:

• Your project must be based in Merseyside
• You must be a locally managed voluntary, community or self help group
• You must be a “Not For Profit” organisation
Grants of between £50 - £2,000
