Funding to Improve Homes & Community Spaces (UK & Ireland)

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to registered charities across the UK & Ireland for projects that support people experiencing bad housing or homelessness, as well as community projects looking to improve their spaces. This could be a community hall or care centre, hostel or hospice.

The B&Q Foundation provides funding to support people in need including those suffering financial hardship, sickness, disability, or other disadvantage or distress.

The Foundation has previously awarded grants to charities ranging from homelessness and abuse charities, to children’s hospices and rehabilitation centres. Funding can be used for projects including creating community gardens, redecorating properties, and converting rooms at hostels to additional bedrooms.

Applicants are required to submit expressions of interest and funding will be awarded before the end of the year.
