Funding for Community Climate Action Projects (Leeds)

Grants are available to support climate action projects in neighbourhoods in Leeds.

Charities, community groups and other not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants of up to £5,000 through the Climate Action Leeds Community Small Grants programme, with the funding available to those with an annual income of up to £150,000.

The types of activities that could be funded include:

  • local initiatives to reduce carbon and increase access to green spaces, such as creating a community garden
  • a feasibility study to explore green energy options for a community building
  • or a repair and recycle hub

The funding is made available by Together for Peace in partnership with the Leeds Community Foundation.

Small unincorporated and unregistered community organisations with an annual income of less than £10,000 can apply for grants of up to £5,000.

Applications will be accepted until 12pm on the 28th February 2024.
