Funding to Support LGBTQ+ Communities (Great Manchester)

LGBTQ+ charities, community groups, and other not-for-profit organisations can apply for funding to deliver projects and activities that benefit and support the welfare of LGBQT+ people in Greater Manchester.

The Manchester Pride grants programme awards funding through the following streams:

  • Superbia Queer Arts Fund will support Queer arts or cultural events;
  • Community Fund supports activities that improve the quality of life of LGBQT+ people
  • Local Pride Fund provides support for local Pride celebrations

Grants of between £250 and £1,000 are available.

Priority will be given to projects that address the following issues:

  • HIV stigma
  • LGBTQ+ events
  • LGBTQ+ mental health
  • LGBTQ+ sexual health
  • LGBTQ+ wellbeing

Priority will be given to projects that support the following communities:

  • Disabled LGBTQ+ people
  • Queer, Trans and Intersex People of Colour (QTIPoC)
  • Wider trans communities

Applications can be made at any time. Organisations are advised to apply early.
