Funding to Tackle Hateful Extremism (Manchester)

Grants of up to £3,000 are available for projects that tackle hateful extremism in Manchester.

The RADEQUAL small grants programme will support organisations to deliver engagement, events, and training that raise awareness and build resilience against extremism within the community.

Supported activities could include:

  • critical thinking and conflict resolution training
  • discussion groups
  • creative arts projects
  • social media campaigns
  • inviting local speakers to debate about current topics
  • intergenerational activities

Who can apply?

  • charities
  • community organisations
  • social landlords
  • youth groups
  • media and creative arts groups
  • other not-for-profit organisations

Collaboration between communities and eligible organisations is encouraged.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 5pm on the 22nd March 2024.
