Grants to Help Reduce the Impacts of Poverty (Leicester)

Organisations working to address poverty in Leicester are invited to apply for grants of between £20,000 and £50,000 to provide support to people from underrepresented and disadvantaged communities.

Who can apply:

  • constituted community groups
  • community interest companies
  • charities
  • social enterprises
  • businesses
  • schools, colleges, and universities

The funding is aimed at anti-poverty projects that will benefit families and children, support mental health and target debt, help those who are digitally excluded, address the poverty experienced by those in work, and that promote sustainability.

Applications from organisations supporting communities in the North and East of Leicester are particularly welcomed.

Collaborative projects are encouraged.

The funding is being made available by Leicester City Council through their Anti-Poverty Community Grants scheme.

The closing date for applications is the 18th October 2023.
