Young people living in Scotland who are aged between 11 and 25 and aspiring to careers in the creative industries can now apply for funding of between £50 and £1000 to develop their creative passions and talents. Applications are welcome from both individuals and groups. The fund aims to support young artists to create something that’s important to them and celebrate young people’s current talents, interests, engagement and development in arts and creativity in Scotland.

For group applications, most of the members should be between 11 to 25 years old.

The Nurturing Talent fund has been created by the National Youth Arts Advisory Group. A total of £50,000 will be available through three funding rounds throughout 2020 - 21

The closing date for applications for the current round of funding is the 6th June 2021.
