UK organisations specialising in supporting refugees and asylum seekers can apply for grants of up to £200,000 over 3 to 5 years through the Comic Relief's new Re-Rooted: Safety and Security for Refugees & Asylum Seekers programme.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Currently specialize in supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.
• Meet Comic Relief's general eligibility criteria (available on their website).

The funding supports two areas:

• Service delivery: Providing direct assistance, addressing multiple needs (e.g., housing, education, healthcare) of refugees and asylum seekers.
• Influencing & advocacy work: Working to improve safety, security, and outcomes for refugees and asylum seekers by pushing for safer routes and better policies (at local or national level).

Comic Relief prioritises proposals that:

• Involve refugees and asylum seekers with lived experience in the UK.
• Offer holistic services addressing multiple needs.
• Demonstrate evidence of real need among the refugee and asylum seeker community (for influencing work).

Comic Relief welcome applications from single organisations or partners of two or three organisations.

The application deadline is 12 noon on the 26^th March 2024.
