European Social Innovation Competition Open to Applications (UK)

The European Commission, with support from the EIC, has launched the 2021 European Social Innovation Competition to find the best socially innovative projects designed to change the world for the better.

The competition will award three €50,000 prizes for early-stage sustainable ideas that will power the European economy’s green and digital future through job creation, growth and European competitiveness. This will include identifying skills gaps as well as approaches to development and training that will support people to reskill or upskill.

The competition is open to individuals, groups and organisations across the European Union, including the UK, and in countries participating in the Horizon Europe programme.

The deadline for applications is 12.00 CEST on the 12th May 2021 with 30 semi-finalists announced in July.
