Charities, community groups, Community Interest Companies (CICs), and social enterprises are eligible to apply for grants of up to £4,000 to support initiatives that foster unity within their communities.

The We Love MCR Stronger Communities Fund aims to acknowledge and invest in the diverse and multicultural neighborhoods of Manchester. It seeks to assist projects aligned with one or more of the following themes:

1. Early Years assistance
2. Combating loneliness and social exclusion
3. Protection and enhancement of open spaces
4. Provision of positive youth activities

Previously funded projects include a community workshop that celebrated the diversity of women from various community backgrounds and the revitalisation of an alleyway to promote community cohesion.

The next application deadline is the 7th May 2024.
