£2.5 million in government funding is available to provide seriously injured veterans across the UK with mobility equipment to improve their quality of life.

The Veterans’ Mobility Fund will deliver grants and equipment for veterans with mobility needs linked to their service, providing aids usually unavailable through the NHS, such as specialist wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and orthotics such as splints and braces.

The fund is administered by Help for Heroes and Blesma, and will deliver support to veterans with physical disabilities through grants over the next five years.
