Funding to Test Different Ways of Protecting Woodlands from Pests and Disease (England)

Landowners and others who manage woodlands infected by specific pests and diseases can apply for funding through the Forestry Commission's Tree Health Pilot Scheme.

The aim of the scheme is to test different ways of slowing the spread of pests and diseases affecting trees in England. To be able to participate, the woodland needs to be located in North West England, the West Midlands or the South East and London.

The level of funding available depends on the species of trees, the type of pests and diseases and the type of work carried out, etc.

Around 100 grant agreements will be allocated.

Expressions of interest must be submitted in the first instance. There is no application deadline specified.
