Funding to Tackle Racial Injustice (UK)

A new £3 million fund has been launched to grow, sustain, and strengthen Black and Global Majority communities that are challenging racial injustice in the UK.

Grants of between £5,000 and £30,000 are available per year for up to five years to individuals, collectives, social movements, and not-for-profit groups led by and for Black and Global Majority people whose purpose and practices are focused on collectively addressing racial justice and intersectionality, and challenging oppressive systems.

Funding could, for example, be used for a series of wellbeing community events, an intergenerational art collaboration, and running costs etc.

The funding is being made available by the Baobab Foundation through the Baobab Collective Fund.

Applicants have until 11:59pm on the 23rd September 2022 to register their interest.
