Grants to Promote Fair Immigration System (UK)

Organisations that are working to promote an immigration system in the UK that is fair to both migrants and established residents can apply for funding through the Barrow Cadbury Trust.  A total of £1 million is available.

The grant is open to organisations working at a national level, both individually and in partnership with others. Applicants must demonstrate how their project will contribute to the Trust's objectives of promoting an effective and humane immigration system, ensuring accuracy and depth in the debate on national identity, integration, and immigration, and encouraging a thriving society where all people, including immigrants, are treated fairly.

Some examples of projects that could be funded include:

  • Research into the impact of immigration on the UK
  • Campaigning for changes to the immigration system
  • Developing educational materials about immigration
  • Supporting community groups that work with migrants

The Barrow Cadbury Trust has strong historic links to Birmingham.  Projects based in Birmingham can also apply for projects that build networks across sectors and communities in Birmingham to strengthen the voice of local people on issues relating to migration and integration;

There is no closing date and applications can be submitted at any time.  For more information and to apply, please visit the Barrow Cadbury Trust website (link below).
