Young Women’s Mental Health Programme (Northern Ireland, North East and North West of England)

The Pilgrim Trust has announced that its young women’s mental health programme has re-opened for applications.

The programme provides grants of £60,000 to £90,000 (spread over three years) to help improve the mental health of women aged 16-25 in the UK.  The Pilgrim Trust has committed £5 million in funding over five years (2021-2026).

Each year the Trust reviews the programme and incrementally increase the geography of the programme. In 2022, projects must take place in Northern Ireland, the North East or North West of England.

To be eligible to apply for funding organisations need to directly engage with young women aged 16-25; and offer age, gender and trauma informed mental health services.

To apply, organisations will need to discuss their proposal with the Trust’s Grants Manager. Based on the discussion, organisations will get an immediate decision on whether their project is eligible to go to the next stage. The deadline for booking a discussion is the 29th July 2022.

Those eligible will have until the 31st August to submit their full application.
