Funding for Youth Crime Prevention & Diversionary Activities (Scotland)

The Scottish Government has launched the latest round of the Cashback for Communities Fund to support young people and communities most affected by crime.

A total of up to £20 million in funding is available over the next three years for the delivery of youth work activity programmes for disadvantaged young people aged between 10 and 25 who are most at risk of being involved in antisocial behaviour, offending or re-offending, and entering the justice system.

Activities could include sports, arts, youth work and employability which provide opportunities to raise the ambition and aspirations of young people, whilst helping to improve their physical and mental health.

Each local authority area in Scotland has its own allocation of funds made available from money recovered from criminal activity.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 12th August 2022.
