The Big Give has launched a new match funding campaign to support charities working to improve the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged or underrepresented women and girls in England and Scotland.

Supported by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s Tampon Tax fund, the Women and Girls Match Fund will make match funding available to charities that are led by and for women and girls.   

Charities must be looking to raise £2,500, £10,000 or £25,000 in public donations (to be doubled by the match funds).

The closing date for applying for match funding is the 11^th January 2021. 

Charities successful at this stage will then be able to launch a week long fundraising campaign on International Women’s Day on the 8^th March 2022 to raise the funds that will be matched by the Women and Girl’s Match Fund on a £ per £ basis until the match funding has been exhausted. 

The fundraising campaign will close on the 15^th March 2022.
