Funding to Empower Disadvantaged Young People into Positions of Leadership (England)

The Listening Fund is seeking applications from youth-focused charities and not-for-profit organisations in England who are working to support young people aged 10-30 who have experienced injustice into positions of leadership.

The funding is being made available through the Advisers’ Fund, which will award grants of up to £40,000 for two years to allow organisations to create leadership opportunities that enable disadvantaged young people to shape their own strategies, support services and systems. It will target young people facing various issues, including those leaving care or experiencing homelessness, school exclusion, poor mental health, and sexual exploitation and abuse.

A total of £500,000 is available for this funding round.

The deadline for applications is 6pm on the 28th July 2022.
