The National Lottery Community Fund and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport are putting an extra £12 million of funding into the #iwill Fund to create thousands of new youth social action opportunities for young people across England.

The #iwill Fund distributes its investment by working in partnership with other funders that match #iwill Fund monies on at least a £1:£1 ratio and develop funding programmes that enable more young people, particularly from less affluent communities, to take part in social action projects such as campaigning, fundraising and volunteering. 

This new funding is primarily aimed at those who are new to the #iwill Fund and are developing their own youth social action funding projects through grant funding to other organisations.
