Local authorities and other not-for-profit organisations can apply for a share of £368 million in funding to create, expand and improve local youth facilities and services currently on offer to young people in underserved areas of England.
Grants of up to £150,000 are being made available through phase two of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s Youth Investment Fund and is being delivered by Social Investment Business. The fund is open to bids from 45 local authorities and over 600 district wards to build or refurbish up to 300 youth facilities over the next 3 years that represent value for money, are environmentally sustainable and enable positive activities for young people aged 11–18 (up to 25 for young people with SEND).
Expressions of interest should be submitted in the first instance.
