Funding to Help Improve the Lives of Vulnerable Children Living in Poverty (UK)

Organic clothing brand, Fruji, has launched a Happy Childhood Fund to help improve the lives of vulnerable children living in poverty throughout the UK. Registered grassroots charities can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for projects which support children and communities in three areas:

  • hunger
  • shelter
  • nature

These pillars represent the core elements of Frugi’s main mission statement.

Projects such as food banks and community kitchens, groups for underprivileged children at community centres, homelessness, community gardens, or workshops to help children connect with nature will be funded in their entirety, not simply running costs.

The deadline for applications is 12 noon on the 8th July 2020.
