Grants of up to £3,000 are available to support cultural or community projects that benefit residents in Thamesmead.

The funding is available to:

• not-for-profit organisations, including charities and community organisations (with an annual income of £100,000 or less)
• Thamesmead residents aged 18+

Applications are accepted for new or existing projects that:

• increases levels of arts and cultural activity
• supports educational outcomes for a group
• brings the community together
• seeks to improve local health and wellbeing
• encourages community use of local outdoor spaces
• supports activities to strengthen children and family relationships
• help people develop new skills
• provides local services or activities for older people
• use nature of gardening to bring people together
• provide opportunities for people to connect with and enjoy the natural environment
• increase biodiversity in Thamesmead

The funding is made available by the London Community Foundation through the Thamesmead Community Fund, which closes to applications at 12pm on 15 December 2026.
