Grants of up to £10,000 Available for Projects that Support Disadvantage People (UK / International)

UK-based registered charities can apply for grants of between £1,000 to £10,000 to enhance the lives of people facing social and economic challenges, particularly amongst the sick, elderly, disabled, and other disadvantaged groups in the UK.

The Greenhall Foundation is providing the funding, which will support special projects or the purchase of specific equipment, rather than general operating costs or charity salaries. The Foundation gives preference to appeals where they can provide a significant proportion of the required funding.

UK-registered charities can also apply for the Greenhall Foundation's funding initiative to support overseas projects. The Foundation aims to create a positive impact in communities, and this funding round will be closed once the Foundation receives 150 applications.

Trustees meet in May and November each year to consider applications.

  • May meetings are open to Charities in all income brackets.
  • November meetings are only open to Charities with an annual income of £250,000 or less.

Previous grants awarded include funding for education programmes for individuals with disabilities, support for the elderly through the provision of daily nutritious meals, and mental health support for young people facing poverty, social isolation, and unemployment.
