Funding for Projects that Bring Younger & Older Generations Together (Leeds)

Charities, voluntary or community groups, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations in Leeds can apply for funding of between £3,000 and £5,000 to deliver unique and creative projects that engage socially isolated older people (50+) with younger generations.

Leeds Community Foundation has opened the final round of the Small Funds Programme, which they manage for Time to Shine. The theme is ‘Intergenerational’. The programme will support a range of community-based, 6-month projects that bring younger and older generations together in a mutually beneficial way to reduce social isolation and loneliness. In particular, the programme is looking to support projects that bridge the intergenerational divide that has been widened by the Covid-19 response.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 31st March 2021.
