Grants to Deliver Positive Outcomes for Disadvantaged Communities (Sheffield)

Voluntary sector organisations including registered charities, CIOs, and industrial and provident societies, are invited to bid for a share of £60,000 in funding for initiatives which tackle poverty and inequality and/ or improve the health and wellbeing of disadvantaged communities in Sheffield.

The Tackling Inequalities Fund 2021-2022 will award grants of between £5,000 and £15,000 for core funding or projects/activities taking place up to the end of September 2022 that deliver positive outcomes.

This fund will support a small number of organisations where there is a proven track record and clear evidence that they can deliver positive outcomes for beneficiaries. This fund can support new projects from established organisations where there is evidence to support need.

Previous recipients of the fund include Emmaus which supports men and women who were homeless, and Nomad which provides access to shared housing to help people transition out of homelessness.

Funding is provided by Sheffield City Council and the deadline for applications is the 7th December 2021.
