Funding to Support African Hospice & Palliative Care (UK)

UK registered charities can apply for grants of up to £5,000 to help hospice and palliative care providers across Africa to increase access to and improve the standard of palliative care in their communities in response to the Covid-19 crisis.

The funding, which is being made available through the True Colours Trust Africa Small Grants Programme, can be used to provide equipment for patients, palliative care for children and young people, palliative care medicines, capital improvement costs, increase access to palliative care in rural areas, and training for palliative care service providers.

The proportion of the budget which can be used for core costs has been increased from £500 to £750.

The closing date for applications is the 3rd September 2022.
