Grants of up to £5,000 are available to support locally-based community groups, small businesses, schools, charities and parish councils across Hampshire to deliver projects, products and services which prevent household waste.

Hampshire County Council’s Waste Prevention Community Grant Fund will award funding for projects which will introduce new waste prevention, reuse or repair projects to local areas, which is proven to work elsewhere and will help build a network of waste prevention services across Hampshire.

Previous projects have included repair cafes, cookery and upcycling classes in schools, reusable nappy libraries, and swap events. Applicants must contact the Waste Prevention Team to discuss their project before applying.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 18th February 2022.
