Funding to Reduce Health Inequalities (Manchester)

Grants of up to £20,000 are available to social enterprise, community and volunteer organisations working to reduce health inequalities within disadvantaged and minority communities in Central Manchester, South or North Manchester, and Trafford.

This funding is provided by the University of Manchester NHS Foundation Trust through the Community Diagnostic Centers Equity Fund, which aims to raise awareness and encourage the community to use the Community Diagnostic Center (CDC) so they can access life-saving checks closer to home.

Initiatives may include community engagement work, such as community focus groups to raise awareness and/or build trust in accessing CDC services; and develop accessible information regarding CDC services, videos, Ted talk, and more.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 20th January 2023.
