Amazon Literary Partnership Opens for Applications (UK)

The Amazon Literary Partnership has launched its fourth year of grants to provide funding to literary organisations that develop emerging writers, support diversity, celebrate storytelling, and/or build trust author's career.

Applicants must be a registered UK nonprofit whose primary mission is to develop emerging writers, support diversity, celebrate storytelling and/or build a career with as a writer.

Organisations must be structurally and financially sound; show energy, passion and reach; have an online presence and an enthusiastic membership or readership. 

 In 2022, the ALP supported 28 literary groups across the UK.  These included nonprofit writing centers, residences, scholarships, after-school classes, magazines literary journals, national organizations that support storytelling and free speech, and internationally renowned fiction publishers, fiction and poetry NGOs.

The closing date for applications is the 31st January 2023.
