UK registered businesses will be able to apply for a share of up to £1 billion for capital investment and R&D projects that help industrialise the electrified automotive supply chain at scale in the UK.
Funded by the UK Government, the Automotive Transformation Fund aims to establish a competitive and sustainable UK supply chain by providing support for projects involving the latest technology in batteries, electric motors and drives, power electronics, fuel cells, and recycling.
This round of funding will be open to single applicants and collaborations, with no restrictions on the number of applications a business can lead or collaborate on. (Previous applicants can submit a maximum of two applications).
The fund will be open to expressions of interest from 9.30am on the 6th December 2021 until 11:00am on the 12th January 2022.
