Help Musicians, the independent UK charity for professional musicians of all genres, is making grants of up to £1,500 available to support musicians to develop their skills or artistic practice.
The funding is available to help solo artists, composers, group members, songwriters, producers or multidisciplinary artists aged 18 and over with no significant backing to reinvigorate and sustain their careers as music creators.
Applicants can specify opportunities relevant to their own circumstances and ambitions, allowing them to access support which is specific to their individual career needs. This could be anything from 1-on-1 time with a mentor to structured online courses. Groups of six members or less can also apply.
Applications can be submitted at any time and applicants will be notified of the outcome within 8 to 10 weeks.
