UK Research and Innovation Launches the Rethinking Public Dialogue Fund (UK)

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) in partnership with the Royal Society for Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce has launched a new £480,000 fund to investigate the effective of current methods for consulting the public (public dialogue) in shaping research and innovation priorities. 

The Rethinking Public Dialogue Fund aims to test and evaluate new possibilities for consulting the public, and capture evidence about their effectiveness that can help de-risk these approaches for policy makers, research funders and public engagement practitioners. Projects will be able to bid for grants of up to £60,000 available per project. 

Organisations eligible to apply include:

  • Non-profits/charitable organisations.
  • Community Interest Companies (CICs).
  • Companies Limited by Guarantee where there is a lock-in clause requiring that profits go to a charitable purp

The deadline for submitting applications is the 7th July 2022.
