South West Wales Connected Community Rail Partnership has launched a new Community Changemakers Fund to support local people and organisations who want to drive positive local change in communities along the South West Wales rail network.
Any group of local residents, community organisation, charity, community interest company or micro-SME that is based within 6miles of a train station in South West Wales can apply for grants of between £300 and £1,000 to cover project costs and start-up expenses for community projects which demonstrate a positive impact on the well-being of the local community.
This could include projects ranging from youth involvement, art projects, enhancing green spaces, support for the elderly, BAME inclusion projects, disability support, and placemaking.
The deadline for applications is the 30th March 2021.
