The National Lottery Community Fund is launching a new funding programme to help communities across Wales to engage with the impacts of climate change.
The new ‘Sustainable Steps Wales: mentoring support for communities to engage with climate action’ programme will make one award of around £2 million to support one applicant in delivering mentoring support for at least five years to community groups on how to take action on climate change and live in a more sustainable way.
Funding is made available from the Dormant Accounts Scheme.
The fund will be open to expressions of interest from constituted voluntary organisations or public sector organisations working in partnership with voluntary organisations from the 1st December 2021 until 5pm on the 1st February 2022.
