£4.34 Million Prize for Innovations to Help Dementia Patients Stay Independent (UK / International)

A new £4.34 million prize for innovations to help change the lives of people living with dementia has opened to applications.

Innovators are invited to develop technologies that learn about the lives and routines of people living with early-stage dementia, employing assistive technology and machine learning to adapt as their condition progresses, and thereby helping them remain independent in their homes.

Innovate UK, the Alzheimer’s Society and Challenge Works will award £3.34 million in seed funding and grants to the most promising innovators, with a £1 million prize awarded to the winner in early 2026.

Entries to the Longitude Prize on Dementia close on the 26th January 2023.
