Grants for Projects to Help Prevent, or Reduce, the Risk of Heart Disease (Anglia TV Region)

Not for profit groups, voluntary organisations and registered charities in the Carlton ITV Region (Example of areas within the awarding region: Cambridge, Clacton on Sea, Great Yarmouth) can apply for funding for projects that actively promote Heart Health and help to prevent, or reduce, the risk of heart disease.

Grants of up to £10,000 are available for new, original and innovative projects lasting up to 12 months are available through the Heart Research UK (HRUK) and Subway® Healthy Heart grant scheme.

In response to the pandemic grants in 2021 are available for projects that can be safely delivered during the pandemic.  This can include:

  • funding for projects that can be delivered remotely or with social distancing measures in place;
  • and grants for purchases of equipment only such as exercise equipment, technology, blood pressure monitors, weighing scales etc. 

The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 4th May 2021.
