Crime Prevention Fund 2021/22 Opens to Applications (Essex)

The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex has opened the Crime Prevention Fund 2021/22 for projects that help to prevent and tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in Essex.

Bids of up to £20,000 are welcomed from charities, CICs, schools, local authorities, and town, parish and community councils for community safety projects that are victim-focused, and which support diverse communities to work together by encouraging reporting, identifying problem areas, and targeting prevention activity.

This could include reducing the fear women feel in their communities, supporting rural communities, and support and early intervention for people with additional needs or those at increased risk of becoming victims of crime.

The deadline for applications is the 6th March 2022.
