Audio Content Fund Opens for Applications (UK)
The Audio Content Fund has launched a new funding round. A total of £330,000 is available to fund independent producers making high quality, public service content for UK commercial and community radio.
Supported by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport the fund aims to support programming that is traditionally more difficult to support on a commercial basis (such as documentaries, comedy, drama, events).
Applications can be for content in a variety of formats, but bids must come with a guarantee of broadcast on an Ofcom-licensed UK radio station or network of stations.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 4th October 2021.
