Funding to Support Veterans with Specific, Complex Needs (UK)

UK charities and Community Interest Companies can apply for funding to deliver targeted projects aimed at veterans with specific, complex and sometimes hidden needs, especially where there are gaps in support and provision.

Through the Reaching and Supporting Armed Forces Communities programme, the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust will award grants of up to £100,000 over a period of up to three years.

There are a range of beneficiary groups that could be considered, these could include:

• People who have been bereaved.
• Those with unmet needs from physical/moral injury and/or mental ill health.
• People and their families who are serving or have served, who were born overseas.
• Armed Forces families coming to the UK.
• LGBT+ community.
• Female veterans.

Activities could explore socio-economic considerations or needs relating to disabilities or mental health needs such as addiction.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 13th November 2023.
