Small grants are available to support start-up and existing social enterprises in the Sheffield City Region.

Delivered by a community-based consortium in collaboration with Sheffield City Region Growth Hub and backed by European Union funding, the Social Enterprise Exchange programme offers a comprehensive programme of support for social enterprises and social entrepreneurs to contribute towards jobs, growth and social inclusion.

Two strands of funding are available:

• the Accelerate strand offers grants of between £1,000 and £1,500 for social enterprise start-ups;
• the Transform strand which offers between £1,000 and £5,000 for existing social enterprises.

Grants in excess of £1,500 require match funding.

The closing date for applications is the 17th October 2022.
