Funding to Support Healthy School Holidays (Leeds)

Charities, community groups, and other not-for-profit organisations in Leeds can apply for grants of up to £20,000 to provide hot meals and enrichment activities for school-age children during the 2023 Easter, Summer and Christmas school holiday periods.

The Healthy Holidays 2023 Grants Programme will support projects that tackle hunger and inactivity by promoting healthy, fun enriched holidays, particularly for children and young people eligible for free school meals.

Funding can cover costs such as staff costs, reasonable venue costs, volunteer expenses, and costs associated with sourcing food and ingredients.

Funding is made available by the Department for Education, and administered by the Leeds Community Foundation in partnership with Leeds City Council.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 9th December 2022.
