Funding to Tackle the Digital Divide (UK)

The UFI Voctech Trust has launched a funding call for projects that build the confidence and ability of adults most impacted by the digital divide to help them get the skills they need for work.

The VocTech Challenge Grant Fund will award funding of up £160,000 to develop or deploy current and emerging technologies which will improve accessibility, create a supportive learning environment, and offer increased personalisation and motivation to start or keep on learning.

The funding is made up of the following:

An initial £10,000 grant is available for the Define phase, followed by;

Ufi VocTech Activate – Grants of between £15,000 - £50,000 to test early-stage ideas.

Ufi VocTech Impact – Grants of up to £150,000 for VocTech solutions that can deliver benefits to a large number of learners.

The funding is available to UK Charities, private companies, community interest companies and other not-for-profit organisations already engaged with the target learner groups.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 29th July 2021.
