Future Farming Resilience Fund to Open in August (England)

The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs is making tailored business support available to farmers during the UK's transition away from the EU's Common Agricultural Policy.

The Future Farming Resilience Fund will support farmers or land managers in receipt of Basic Payment Scheme payments from August 2021 through to March 2022 to help them navigate the changes during this period. The support will enable farmers to

  • help understand the changes that are happening as a result of the Agricultural Transition;
  • identify how, what and when you may need to adapt your business model;
  • access tailored support to address these changes.

£10.7 million in funding has been awarded to nineteen organisations to provide this support to farmers and land managers who are encouraged to sign up to the scheme.  Details of the organisations can be found on the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs website (link below).
