£1 Million Funding for Archives Sector (UK)

The Wolfson Foundation, the Pilgrim Trust and the National Archives have announced that their partnership funding programme, Archives Revealed, will award £1million to archive services over the next three years.

The programme aims to open up significant archive collections to the public for research and enjoyment by awarding Cataloguing Grants of up to £45,000 for archives to create catalogues of important archival collections, as well as Scoping Grants of up to £3,000 to fund expert advice on collections management and development.

Public sector bodies, registered charities and other not-for-profit organisations across the UK can apply for Scoping Grants at any time, with decisions made on a quarterly basis.

Cataloguing Grants will re-open to applications in the autumn.
