Challenge to Fill the Skills Gap in the Power Electronics, Machines & Drives Industry (UK)

UK-registered organisations will be able to apply for a share of up to £250,000 for innovative projects that fill gaps in skills, talent and training for the power electronics, machines and drives (PEMD) industry.

Innovate UK’s Driving the Electric Revolution challenge, part of UK Research and Innovation, will award grants of between £10,000 and £25,000 for 3-month projects that deliver a clear game-changing intervention, which would the industry’s skills needs.

The competition will be open to single applicants and collaborations. UK registered businesses of any size, research organisations, charities or public sector organisations can lead a project.

Applications can be made between the 9th August 2021 and 11am on the 15th September 2021.
