Funding to Help Unemployed People Move Towards Employment, Training or Education (Thames Valley Berkshire)

Voluntary sector organisations and small businesses in the Thames Valley Berkshire region are invited to apply for grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 to support local initiatives that will enable unemployed people aged 16 years and over to move towards employment, training or education.

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Community Training Grants will fund a range of innovative projects which help prepare participants for work by providing opportunities to learn and upskill in anything from industry-specific training to developing soft-skills.

Priority will be given to projects that support those aged 50 years and over, those with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and women. Groundwork is administering the programme on behalf of ESFA and the European Social Fund.

Expressions of interest should be submitted no later than 10am on the 21st January 2022.
