Competition Seeking Ideas on How to Improve Britain’s Roads (UK)

The Rees Jeffreys Road Fund is running a competition for primary and secondary schools and colleges that seeks ideas on how to improve Britain’s roads.

Two prizes of £5,000 and four runner up prizes of £2,000 are on offer to encourage new and creative thinking about what road users, and society, expect from the roads of the future. Applicants are encouraged to be creative with their submissions, and could include a model, a simulation, a 3D fly through, a poem, a painting, a song, or a sculpture.

Key issues such as making road trips more enjoyable, changing travel trends, encouraging good behaviour from road users, and healthier and safer travel should be considered.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 19th November 2021.
